Google Doodle commemorates 53rd UAE National Day

To commemorate the UAE's 53rd National Day, Google marked the occasion with a special Doodle on December 2, 2024. The Doodle celebrated the founding of the United Arab Emirates in 1971 when the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Al-Ain, Sharjah, and Umm Al-Quwain united to form a single nation. Ras Al Khaimah joined a year later. This Doodle featured iconic imagery such as vibrant fireworks and the UAE flag, reflecting the spirit of the celebrations, which include large-scale public events in Abu Dhabi with music, speeches, and spectacular fireworks displays

The UAE National Day is marked annually on December 2, a time when the country reflects on its progress and achievements, and the Doodle serves as a joyful tribute to this important national milestone
