Meta has acknowledged widespread login issues affecting users on its platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Messenger. The outage is reported globally, with users experiencing difficulties accessing these services.
According to internet traffic observer Down Detector, significant outages are being reported on various Meta platforms. London-based internet monitoring firm Netblocks confirmed that Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Threads are facing outages related to login sessions in multiple countries. However, there is no indication of country-level internet disruptions or filtering typically imposed by governments.
Andy Stone, Meta's head of communications, addressed the issues on X (formerly Twitter) and stated that the company is actively working to restore normal functionality.
